Zingy Schezwan Gobhi Manchurian

  • 1 packet Kohinoor Tasty Twist Zingy Schezwan Multi Use Seasoning
  • 500 grams Cauliflower florets (stem removed)
  • 1 medium Red Bell Pepper
  • 3-4 chopped spring onion
  • 2 -3 diced dried red chillies
  • 1 tablespoon chopped ginger
  • 2 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • 1 tablespoons sunflower oil
  • 1/2 cup freshly chopped coriander
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2-3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1-2 tablespoons refined flour
  • 2-3 tomato ketchup, (optional)

  • Wash, de-stem & pat dry the cauliflower. Cut it into medium sized florets), season with a pinch or 2 of salt, roll them in refined flour & corn flour mix.

  • Heat refined oil in a wok or Kadhai, deep-fry coated cauliflower on medium flame until golden & crispy, remove on a kitchen towel.

  • Remove excess oil from wok, leaving just a tablespoon in it. Heat it on medium flame & sauté Dried Red Chili, Chopped Garlic, Chopped Ginger briefly.

  • Add Chopped spring onion whites & diced bell pepper, toss & mix. Add Zingy Schezwan (reserve half), soy sauce & ketchup, mix well and sauté further for a minute. Add crispy fried florets, toss & mix until well coated with the sauce.

  • Add chopped coriander leaves & give it a final toss to mix. Remove it in a serving bowl, top with spring onion greens and sprinkle of reserved tasty twist Zingy Schezwan seasoning. Serve immediately as a great party snack or a starter on its own. Or serve with steamed Baos or fried rice.
