  • 300 grams Kohinoor Royale Basmati Rice
  • 3 tablespoon Salt
  • 15 cups Hot Water
  • 0.75 cup Ghee
  • 5 Onions, sliced
  • 4 Tomatoes
  • 500 grams Chicken
  • 3 Green Chillies , Slit
  • 1 cup Yoghurt
  • 1 sachet Kohinoor Hyderabadi Biryani Masala
  • 2 cup Fried brown onions
  • Handful Coriander and Mint Leaves, Chopped

  • For Rice

  • Heat 15 glasses of water in a deep-bottomed pan. Add salt, stir in and add rice. Cook till the rice is ¾ done.

  • Heat ghee in a pan, add onions and sauté till they begin to turn brown. Add tomatoes and and sauté till they begin to turn mushy.

  • Add chicken; mix well and cook for 5-7 minutes on medium flame.

  • Add slit green chillies and sauté for 2 minutes.

  • Add yogurt followed by Kohinoor Hyderabadi Biryani Masala and mix well. Cook for 4-5 minutes.

  • In a deep-bottomed pan, add a layer of rice followed by a layer of chicken, sprinkle fried onion, coriander and mint leaves. Repeat the process till everything is used.

  • Cover and cook on dum for 10-12 minutes.

  • Serve hot.
